We have compiled a list of common questions and answered them to help you find clarity faster!

How qualified are the inspectors?

All of our inspectors have a minimum of 15 years industry experiences in a range of different trades and other hands on positions. When each inspection is booked we will select the most appropriate inspector for each inspection based on the type of inspection and their relevant experience.

How will I receive my report?

Our reports are completed utilising a cloud based state of the art inspection software which will deliver the report automatically once it has been completed and payment received via email. You will receive an email with a link that will open the detailed report or you can select to just view the summary once you’ve opened the link if you’re short of time.

Is Landmark Inspections insured?

Yes, we are fully insured with public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance.

Do I need to be at the inspection?

The client doesn’t need to be at the inspection, we liaise directly with the selling agent or builder to arrange access and provide a detailed report within 24 hours so the client doesn’t need to be at the inspection. If you choose to be at the inspection we ask that you leave any questions you may have for the inspector until the end of the inspection to ensure he doesn’t miss any items due to distraction.

How can I make payment?

We accept payment via EFT, Credit Card via our online portal or Cash at the time of the inspection.

How long will it take to receive the report?

All of our reports are available within 24 hours of the report however if the inspection is completed prior to 1pm, you will receive the report the same day. (Payment must be received prior to the report being issued).

What time do you complete inspections?

Our inspections are typically completed between 8 am and 3:30pm however if you have special requirements feel free to contact our friendly office staff who will try to accommodate.

How long does the inspection take?

Most inspections are completed within about 1 hour however depending on the condition of the property some take longer and others are shorter. When the inspection is completed the inspector then completes the report which takes approximately 1-2 hours.

How can I book an inspection?

The easiest way to book an inspection is online using our online quote and booking form, just complete all relevant details and we will arrange access to the property and send you a confirmation email once it has been scheduled.
